7 Signs Your Website Needs a Redesign in 2026 (and What It Costs)

Your website is probably losing you clients right now. Here are the seven signs it's time for a redesign, what a redesign should include, what it costs in Saudi Arabia and Egypt — and how to do it without losing your Google rankings.

Websites age faster than you think. A site that looked modern in 2022 can quietly cost you clients in 2026 — not because it's broken, but because your customers' expectations moved on. Here's how to know it's time, and how to do it right.

The 7 signs

1. It's slow If your pages take more than three seconds on a phone, visitors leave before they see your offer — and Google ranks you lower for it. Speed is now a ranking factor and a conversion factor.

2. It doesn't work well on mobile Most of your visitors in Saudi Arabia and Egypt are on phones. If they have to zoom, scroll sideways or hunt for the contact button, you're losing them.

3. It doesn't look like your brand anymore Your company grew. Your logo, tone or positioning changed. The website still shows who you were three years ago — and clients notice the gap.

4. Visitors come, but nobody contacts you Traffic without leads is a design problem: unclear value proposition, weak calls to action, no trust signals, a contact form nobody wants to fill. A redesign should be built around conversion, not decoration.

5. Arabic is an afterthought A Google-translated Arabic version with broken RTL layouts tells Gulf customers you're not serious about their market. Real bilingual design is a competitive advantage.

6. You can't update it yourself If every small change needs a developer, your site is a liability. A modern build gives your team a simple CMS to publish content and keep SEO alive.

7. You're embarrassed to share the link The honest test. If you hesitate before sending a client your website, it's already costing you deals.

What a good redesign includes

  • Strategy first: who the site is for, what they should do, and what "success" means
  • UX & structure: clear navigation, conversion-focused pages, real Arabic RTL
  • Brand-led visual design — not a template with your colours
  • A fast, modern build (we use Next.js) with technical SEO built in
  • A CMS your team can actually use
  • An SEO migration plan so you keep your rankings (see below)

What does a redesign cost?

In Saudi Arabia in 2026, a professional company-site redesign typically ranges from SAR 7,000 to 20,000; larger or e-commerce sites go higher depending on catalogue and integrations. An Egyptian studio like Flowlix delivers the same senior quality at noticeably lower cost — one of the main reasons Gulf companies work with us.

How to redesign without losing your Google rankings

This is where most redesigns go wrong. The rules:

1. Keep your URLs — or set up permanent (301) redirects for every page that changes 2. Preserve titles, meta descriptions and heading structure on pages that already rank 3. Keep (and improve) the content that brings traffic — don't delete it because it's "old" 4. Submit the new sitemap to Google Search Console on launch day 5. Monitor rankings for four weeks and fix drops fast

Done right, a redesign improves rankings — faster pages, better structure, better content.

A redesign isn't a new coat of paint. It's rebuilding your best salesperson to close more deals.
